This house is of typical Cape Edwardian style, with high ceilings, original antique windows sash and original Oregon pine wood floors. There are still the original fire places in some of the rooms. Later an additional 3 rooms where added to the building. The Guest house sits on a hill overlooking the Langeberg mountains with a beautiful large garden.

A real gem in Swellendam - and I have stayed in a number of guesthouses. Having the freedom of the main house in the evenings is a huge bonus. Marianna is a lovely host, the food is great and Patrick's craft beer is excellent. Highly recommended.
